Ripe and intense aromas of berries, plums, liquor ice and vanilla oak. The palate is soft and well balanced with persistent tannins. Grenache grapes show intense fruit and berry aromas. Carefully brewed, shiraz grape gives this wine long, chewy tannins.

BLUE RIVER BLACK LABEL DURIF

Hand-picked from the finest Durif vineyards and crafted by winemaker Bill Calabria. The Durif grapes are picked at 14 to 15 "Baume", pressed and rolled by hand in traditional open cement fermenters, and aged for 24 months in new oak barrels. The wine is purplish black with intense aromas of plum and blackberry. The wine is full-bodied, full of chocolate, vanilla and coconut oak, with fine and long tannins. The wine is made in an extremely delicate process with minimal filtering.
